About RHAS
Rodney Hyman, in partnership with Cameron Dunsford, commenced RHAS in May 1999. It was a successful partnership and in fifteen years grew to be the largest plant and machinery valuation practice in Australia. RHAS annually valued more than $100bn of assets.
RHAS, whilst valuing assets across every conceivable asset category, dominated valuations in the energy sector, infrastructure generally, construction materials, manufacturing and in its last five years built a large client base in museums and art galleries.
RHAS’ clients included more than 100 power stations in Australia and New Zealand and also the entire power grids in Samoa, Tanzania and Kenya. RHAS had valued around 97% (by turn-over) of the construction materials industry and many of Australia’s largest manufacturing businesses.
In 2014 Rod and Cameron sold RHAS to Aon Plc. In 2016 after completing his contract, Rod commenced a specialty plant and machinery valuation practice in his own name. This practice now specialises in expert witness reports, complex valuations of machinery and equipment and discrete practice in the valuation of museums, art galleries and libraries.
